...was a big disappointment for me. Let me tell you why.

Day 1

Legretta the Quick from Tales of the Abyss

Everything went wrong today.

-We forgot to bring a lot of essentials, including hairpins.

-My eyebrow pencil broke, and we forgot to bring a sharpener.

-The glue for the design on my tights came out, so we held the design together with safety pins.

-My hairpiece broke.

-Hardly anybody recognized me.

The last one isn't that important, but it was still a little disheartening.

Never mind, I put that day aside and waited to bring justice to one of my favorite characters the next day.

Day 2

Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier

To my disappointment, another terrible day.

My eyes were getting dry very easily, possibly due to not enough sleep the night before. I couldn't really act cute like I had practised because I was feeling unwell, but tried to hide it as much as I could.

By the time I couldn't tolerate it anymore, I was feeling so bad that I needed to sit down or hang on to something, otherwise I felt like as if I would faint.

I left the event earlier than usual, about 5pm.

I apologize for failing Ranka.
You don't know how much I mean that. I know I can be cute if I wanted to. I know I could pull her off.

Things happen on the wrong days, at the wrong time. I was crushed.

I promise I will do Ranka again, and this time I truly will portray her right.
